Children’s Sunday School We are excited to offer Sunday School classes for ages 3-11. We will meet downstairs, across from the library. Doors open at 9:30 am. Children will join their families during the offering at the 10 am service. Volunteer help would be greatly appreciated to assist with supervision and assistance with response time on Sunday mornings during the classes. Our current plan includes the use of a Rotation Model in which lessons are shared using different approaches, to allow children to learn and internalize the stories in the ways that are most meaningful to them. We will use stories, art, song and varied projects through the seasons. A modified Godly Play model will be used for many of the story presentations. We are working to ensure that all students feel welcomed and inspired in our classes. For questions or to offer volunteer support, please contact Sarah Nyhan.

Children’s Choirs The ages of these two groups remain flexible. The older 8-18 aged youngsters’ are the St. Paul’s Choristers, and the younger 4-7 aged youngsters are the Junior Youth Choir, or JYC.

Choristers aged 8-18 meet from Tuesdays 5:00-6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 5:40 - 7 p.m. (Friday includes supper.)

Junior Youth Choir (JYC) aged 4-7 (if a younger child is eager, parents are encouraged to give it a try.) meet Fridays from 4:45-5:30 p.m. If the JYC youngsters and their parents want to stay with the Choristers for suppers and games on Friday nights they are welcomed.

Each group will sing for the 10 a.m. Sunday church service about once a month. As we gain experience and confidence, this may increase, especially in the case of the Choristers. For more information please reach out to June Hale.

St. Paul’s Church has adopted the model policies of The Episcopal Church for the protection of children and youth. The policy can be found here.
